The printing process
Capturing a beautiful image is only the beginning of creating the final fine art prints. To produce my high quality fine art prints, I use the most recent technology and all my expertise. Every print I make has to pass my own highest quality expectations. The optimal print size may vary for each image depending on the type of film, digital format, and degree of light.
Every print is crafted in my home studio. I print all* of my photographs on "Hahnemühle FineArt Paper" using a professional Epson 9900 printer with the Ultrachrome HDR ink set. This combination is certified by the Wilhelm Imaging Research Institute to last over 100 years without signs of aging when properly displayed (framed behind UV protective glass or acrylic). *UltraSec® mounted prints are made by Fachcolor Buehler.
